Введение

Метод проектов является составной частью обучения английскому языку, с его помощью осуществляется поисково-исследовательская деятельность учащихся. Этот метод наиболее полно отражает 2 основных принципа коммуникативного подхода к обучению иностранному языку: мотивации к учению (в проектной работе она всегда положительная) и личный интерес: проект отражает интересы учащихся, их собственный мир.

Учащиеся 7Б класса осуществили проект в рамках изученных ими тем разделов «Путешествие по России и за границу», «Посещение Великобритании» (учебник О.В. Афанасьевой и И.В. Михеевой. English 7), страноведческих и краеведческих знаний.

Время работы над проектом: 2 недели

Форма работы: урочно-внеурочная
Цели образовательные и воспитательные:

-Осуществлять поисково-исследовательскую деятельность.

-Развивать умение проектировать, мыслить на английском языке в процессе изучения страноведческой проблемы.

-Воспитывать чувство гордости за родной город и уважительное отношение к ее памятникам, знаменитостям и культурным ценностям; развивать интерес к изучению жизни своего города.


Задачи учебно-педагогические:

-Способствовать развитию интереса к предмету

-Развивать умение:

А) формулировать мысли на английском языке и грамматически-правильно оформлять ее

Б) использовать культурологический и краеведческие знания
Мотивация к работе осуществлялась на основе интереса к данной теме, возможности получить информацию о родном городе и крае.

Тему исследования достопримечательностей родного края изучали согласно плану. Для осуществления поисковой деятельности учащиеся по своему желанию были разбиты на пары и выбирали по своему желанию объекты исследования — одну из достопримечательностей. В каждой группе ее членами были распределены обязанности по подготовке материала, по предъявлению результатов и продукта проектоной работы (презентации), были назначены ответственные за оформление и т.д.



Информационно-техническое обеспечение:

Учащиеся использовали компьютер, фотоаппараты, изучали краеведческие и культурологические материалы, использовали фото и компьютерные программы.


Работа над проектом.

I этап: организационный - выбрав темы своего иследования, учащиеся разделились на группы, определили задачи и спланировали свою деятельность. Роль учителя — направляющая на основе мотивации.

II этап: поисково-исследовательский — учащиеся изучали материалы, собирали информацию по своей теме на русском языке, готовили наглядное предъявление своих исследований. Роль учителя — наблюдательная, учащиеся в основном работали самомтоятельно.

III этап: языковая работа — исследование языковых явлений и арзвитие навыков правильного лексического и грамматического оформления полученной информации на английском языке.

IV этап: предъявление проекта и его продукта. Учащиеся представляют свои работы. Роль учителя - сотрудничество.
Презентация проекта:

Презентация проекта произведена в форме защиты компьютерных презентаций, в которых учащиеся предъявили результаты своих исследований.



Продукт проекта

Продуктом проекта стали компьютерные презентации учащихся о достопримечательнотях родного города, содеожащие краеведческие и культурологические сведения, которые могут быть полезны учащимся на уроках английского языка и по другим предметам.

Достопримечательности моего города

Тип урока: Урок-презентация учебного проекта

Цели урока:

Образовательные: 1. Формирование и развитие навыков поисково-

исследовательской деятельности учащихся;

2. Развитие умения производить результат

проделанной исследовательской деятельности;

3. Развитие умения представлять результаты и

продукт проделанной работы;

4. Развитие познавательного интереса к изучению

английского языка;

5. Развитие коммуникативной компетенции

учащихся;

6. Обогащение познаний учащихся о родном городе

и его достопримечательностях;

7. Использование знаний, полученных при

изучении разделов «Путешествие по России и за

границу», «Посещение Великобритании» при

подготовке проектов и их презентаций о соем

родном городе.

Воспитательные: 1. Воспитание патриотических чувств к родному

краю и городу;

2. Воспитывать чувство ответственности за

совместную работу; потребности и способности к

сотрудничеству;

3. Воспитывать уважительное отношение членов

малой творческой группы друг к другу.

Развивающие: 1. Развитие исследовательских навыков учащихся;

2. Развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков

учащихся;

3. Развитие навыков самосоятельной и групповой

работы;

4. Развитие умений проводить аналогии с ранее



изученным материалом и применять его новых

сходных по ситуации условиях;

5. Развитие творческих способностей

учащихся;содействие творческому выражению

итогов исследовательской деятельности.

Практические задачи: 1. Активизировать употребление лексики и

грамматических знаний по темам: «Путешествие

по России и за границу», «Посещение

Великобритании»; темам проектных работ

«Место, где мы живем», «Достопримечательности

моего города»;

2. Активизировать навыки аудирования с детальным

пониманием услышанного;

3. Провести скрытый контроль за употреблением

видовременных форм глагола; собственных имен

существительных и артиклей; построением

высказываний и оформлением их в предложениях;

4. Способствовать осуществлению речевых умений

учащихся на практике.

Girl: We are from Tatarstan. We live in Leninogorsk.

Boy: We come here to meet our guests from Great Britain. But they haven't come yet.

Girl: Let's look for them. They may lose their way here.

Teacher: There are many cities in th world. They are big and small, old and young, beautiful and plain. Some of them are very popular for the tourists, others are unknown. But in any case they are the best places for people that live in these towns.

Tell me, please, what is the town on the screen? Yes, right, it's Leninogorsk. Today we are going to speak about our native town, the place where we live and their sights. East or West – the home is best,- says the proverb. Is it so? We'll try to find it out.

Leninogorsk

  • Our town is situated in the South-East of Tatarstan. Leninogosk is 54. It was found thanks to Romashkino oil field. The first name of Leninogorsk is Zelenogorsk. Because there are a lot of green woods in it. There are four lakes in our town. There Karabash water basin not far from the town. Many rivers and springs flow through Leninogorsk. Some of them don't freeze even in winter.

There are a lot of snow and ice in winter in our town. In spring snow melts, streams flow, icicles drop and birds sing. Sun is hot in summer, people can fish and swim in the lakes.

Children go to school in warm autumn. I like our town very much!

    • Our next project presentation is about the most popular place in our town. It is the central park.

Central Park.

Town Park is one of the sights of Leninogorsk. This is a cosy corner of beauty and nature.

It was founded in 1956 and grew together with the town. It is decorated with the high blue fir trees.

When spring comes apple trees have and very beautiful white, like snow, flowers that spread very pleasant smell everywhere.

Big fountain is founded in the centre of alleys with pretty bronze ballet dancers.

The benches are situated in small corners of the park areas. Beautiful iron torches decorates the garden.

There are also two tents in the park. In hot period of the year summer cafes work there, town actions are held here.

Runners and skiers like to run in the park. Parents walk with their children, youth spend their free time there.

In spring and autumn school children clean the park from fallen leaves and rubbish.

Our citizens love their park and they are very proud of it.

Oil monument.

The monument to oil was opened in 1975. It was raised in honor of discoverers of Tatar oil. It is situated at the end of the town park alleys. In the centre of the monument there is a symbol of oil fountain. The Monument to Oil is an alive memory about people devoted their lives to the mining oil, to the first oil birthplaces in our region, to the first fountain of the oil, appeared from the depth of the Earth.

This is a sybbol of our town Leninogorsk. It's rebuilt recently and dyed in bronze colour. This monument is the highest in the town. This is a visiting card for arriving people to our city. I like it very much.

Boy and girl: Oh, here they are at last. Come on, we must reach them.

  • There are many national festivals and state holidays in our region, but the most popular among the citizens of our town is Sabantui. Next presentation is about this wonderful festival.

Sabantuy

Sabantuy is a great holiday. People prepare for it beforehand.

At first boys and fellows collect presents for Sabantuy. Among them there is an accordion player. People wait the present collectors in every house.

Masters of the houses prepare embroidered towels, handkerchiefs and table-cloths.

Sabantuy is held on a large square. During this holiday a lot of competitions are held. The first competition is a horse race. Boys begin it. The winner receives the most beautiful towel.

In the centre of the square men can watch wrestling or even take part in it. Small boys begin it? Then the elder boys continue it and men finish it. The main prize for winner is a sheep.

There are a lot of merry competitions on Sabantuy: breaking the pot with closed eyes, finding the coins in the plate with milk, fighting using wool bags when sitting on the beam and others. People like to watch such competitions and laugh.

Sabantuy is a merry holiday!

Forest Park

Forest Park, one of the most beautiful places in our town was planned as a place for families to have a rest. It consists not only of a forest, but also includes two lakes and a theme park, where in the past children can visit different attractions and dance.

In the forest area there are two ski jumps, pure sources with very cool and tasty water.

On one of the hills there is a beautiful white Rotonda.

Two lakes are near these hills. In one of them people fish. In another they swim, sunbath on its beaches in summer.

There are a lot of flowers, berries and mushrooms in this season in the Forest Park.

Our school

Our school is light, cosy and beautiful.

It is a three-storied building.

On the first floor there is a green hall, where one can see the best pupils and common achievements. Our school won many prizes. In 2007 the first cadet form was opened for boys.

There is also a gym on the first floor. Here are all the conditions for playing sports. The Primary school is on the first floor too. I like to be here and remember the time when I was younger.

Our teachers are clever teachers and good people. They try to give us all their knowledge and prepare us to become grown-up persons. While you study a new theme you don't notice that the lesson comes to an end.

We are good friends!

Famous people in our town.

Our land is rich in talented people. The most known in our town are the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. They lost their lives in the battles of the war. Our town has The Heroes Alley in the town park made in honor of them.

The name of Shashin is well-known to everybody in our place. One of the main streets is called after this person. He was an oilman and all his life devoted to finding out oil birthplaces and mining oil. Our oil workers devoted a monument to him in his street.

Not everyone knows the name of Mikhail Fomin in our town. But everybody admires the results of his work. He inspired citizens of our town to make our town very green.

At the beginning of tscience in our town there was an enlightener R. Fakhretdin. One of modern scientists is an academician I. Tagirov.

There are many local writers in our town: novelists Z. Rakhimov, A. Khasanov, G. Rakhim; a well-known in the USSR dramatist K. Amirov; poets R. Shigapov, R. Baitimirov. Sh. Bikchurin headed the Union of writers “Chishma” in our region. His pupil D. Sadretdinov made a memorial board hung on the house 33 in Sadriev street.

Our people can't live without songs and music in their souls. That's why there are many composers in our land. R. Valiullin, F. Khusnullin, F. Usupov, teachers of Pedagogical training college and folk composers: A.Volodin, R. Gabdulkhakova are the most famous of them.

Speaking about cultural life in our town we must menyion the names of remarkable painters: M. Khaertdinov, O. Kulpin, A.Udin, M.Mingazov, portraitist D.Sadretdinov.

Drama is one of the part of cultural life in our region. Our folk theatre began his performances in 1963. the famous heads of it are: N. Nurutdinov and R. Shigapov. We often see performances of this theatre.

We are proud of our fellow-towns men.

      6. This sight is situated near the Sport School and devoted to a famous oilman in our town. (The monument to Shashin)

Заключительное слово о Лениногорске

I live in Leninogorsk. It is a small town. It has got a lot of fine beautiful hoses. There are many interesting museums, parks and gardens in our town. Our town is an oil town. So it has an Oil Museum. It is very interesting and has a lot of exhibits. One can see many remarkable monuments in our town: a monument to Shashin, Lenin Lomonosov, Tukai, Vakhitov. There are 14 schools, many kindergartens, a church, a mosque, shops and other places. Leninogorsk is one of the greenest towns in our Republic.

One of the popular sights is the stadium “Unost”. Children can skate in its Ice Palace. Also you can see matches of our hockey team Neftyanik.

There is also a nice park “Malysh” for little children near the town park. Children can play, jump, and run there. Also you can see and take part in children activities.

I like my town in summer. There are many green trees, beautiful flowers, different kinds of birds at tis time. It is very beautiful and clean.

I love my little town!



Leninogorsk is open to guests from all over the world. It is a great fun to visit my town!
